Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress, best known as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons of the period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The series earned her critical acclaim and six Emmy award nominations for the top support actress class. Her professional career, which spans more than two decades has seen her appear in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. In the film industry, for her performance her name has been praised by critics for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: prey of the night Egg and American Woman. Her voice was used in animated films such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Earlier she began her career as a model. She kept it going for quite a while before making her acting debut on television with the anthology series Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. The actress had her first big part in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers. After the show, she was recognized for the part she played on Firefly. In 2010 she was voted one of the hottest women on the planet and also the best-looking woman on the planet in America by Esquire magazine.
